Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who would like to become part of a supportive team at a friendly and nurturing primary school in central Harpenden? We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our teaching team in September 2020. We are a popular and caring Church of England School with 152 pupils in mixed year group classes situated in the centre of Harpenden. We have a dedicated and motivated team of staff and governors and at the heart of our school are our pupils who are high achieving.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A committed and motivated higher level classroom assistant
  • Has a good subject knowledge of Maths in Key Stage 2
  • Willing to model our school values
  • Supports pupils through learning experiences
  • Able to cover Planning, Preparation and Assessment time

A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification would be desirable however there would be an opportunity to obtain the qualification for a suitable candidate. The position will be for working five days a week for 30 hours (8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday).
