SO1 (SCP 23-25) £28,226 - £30,095

Actual Salary: £21,297 - £22,707

Contract: Permanent and fixed term / temporary contracts are available  

Hours: 32.5 Hours Per Week (8:30am – 3:30pm), Term Time Only + 5 Days


Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period

At Ryecroft Academy we are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide PPA cover, curriculum release and intervention to less able children across the whole school.  If you would like to join our friendly, ambitious, hardworking staff then we would love to hear from you. 

Working in partnership with The GORSE Academies Trust, we have embarked on a journey to become an exceptional academy at the centre of the Farnley community.   We will ensure that our children receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation. 

We are looking for someone who:

• is highly motivated and creative

• holds a HLTA qualification

• is able to motivate, inspire and encourage children

• has excellent interpersonal skills

• is committed to developing and maintaining close links with the whole community

• is able to build positive relationships with staff and parents 

• enjoys working as part of a hardworking and happy team

• must have at least GCSE / 'O' Level Maths and English at grade C or equivalent

• EYFS experience or EYFS related qualifications/ level 3 are desirable
