Grade:  TSPT 6 point 17-21

Salary: £17,811 - £19,535 (FTE £23,032 - £25,261)

St Mary Cray Primary Academy is a friendly, warm and welcoming school. We are currently undergoing a period of expansion to build an exciting new provision for our growing population. We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and to join our dedicated team to work alongside the teaching staff to support the children to excel, both academically and socially. 

Staff are very positive about their work in the school and morale is high. Our six core values (Friendship, Diversity, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance) underpin the work of our friendly staff and our well planned, bespoke curriculum. We are also currently developing our outdoor learning provision to offer children a wider range of educational experiences.

The Role (will include)

• Covering classes.

• Working with large groups.

• Assessing / marking learning.

• Communicating with teachers to deliver planning.

• Internal and external training

The Person (must):

• Have experience of working in schools supporting learning.

• Have a desire to professionally improve.

• Have good communication skills.
