St. Nicholas School is seeking to appoint a History teacher in the Secondary section with three or more years’ experience who will enjoy working in a highly stimulating and dynamic international environment. Current experience teaching IB Diploma or A Levels is highly advantageous. Candidates should commit to the IB Diploma and be willing to contribute to Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and CAS.

The History Department is part of a successful and well-run Humanities Faculty where teachers value sharing ideas, resources and experiences. There is a new Humanities course that starts in Grade 6 while History is taught in Year 8.
The Cambridge University IGCSE History course is offered in years 9 and 10 and History is offered at SL and HL in the Diploma Programme. Results at Diploma have been good to very good.
The school is looking for a dynamic and committed teacher who can help to develop the curriculum and work collaboratively with the rest of the teachers in the Department.
