HLTA

To take a lead role (with the support of the class teacher) in designing and delivering a bespoke educational package for a pupil with complex needs. The pupil will be part of a class, but will need a highly differentiated timetable in order to develop academic and social skills. The role is dependent on specific funding from the Local Authority, attached to this pupil. The need for this role will be reviewed on an annual basis. On the role ceasing, the HLTA may be asked to apply for other roles within the school, dependent on suitability for the posts available.
