Vanke Education Group is looking for English native level speaker for Pudong kindergarten for students 2-4 years of age in Shanghai. Vanke Kindergartens follow an American-style immersion program, with hands-on learning and diverse teaching methodologies. Our student population is primarily Chinese, although there are also expat children.
Job Description:
-Plan a program that helps each student achieve learning objectives and curriculum goals
-Prepare lesson materials and resources
-Select and use instructional methods and materials appropriate to the students and learning activities
-Adapt standard teaching methods to meet different student needs and interests
-Create a positive and appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning
-Instruct children on personal hygiene practices and self-care
-Observe, evaluate and record children's social and academic progress
-Provide constructive feedback to parents, guardians and administration
-Perform required administrative duties including attending staff meetings
-Uphold the school code of conduct and all school policies, rules and procedures in a supportive and positive manner
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or educational related field)
-Early Childhood Education experience (3-5 years preferred) as homeroom teacher
-Native Level English Speaker from: USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or England
-Qualifications to obtain a teaching visa in China
Benefits:
-Competitive salary package, salary range: 25,000-35,000 rmb per month (which includes housing)
