Hours/Weeks: Variable term time only. Hourly Paid positions are variable-hours contracts meaning that work could vary week to week depending on business needs. This is not a zero-hours contract.

The purpose of this role is to assess and develop the Literacy and Numeracy sills of students with additional learning needs to ensure appropriate support to promote independent learning skills. The post holder will have proven expertise in teaching and supporting students with Literacy, Language and M=Numeracy difficulties on courses at Levels 1, 2 or 3 and will also develop study skills and independent learning. The post includes assessing and working with students to improve their LLN skills, both spoken and written; advising tutors on developing the LLN and study skills of their students and working collaboratively with tutors and Learning Support Assistants across the College.
