Working closely with the Housemasters, Matrons are key members of the team in both day and boarding houses. The successful candidates must be team players, who are empathetic, approachable, well organised, thrive on variety, energetic and have a good sense of humour. Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff is the foundation to creating a happy house. Essential to the role is a high level of confidentiality and integrity. A driving licence is essential, preferably with your own transport.
Ideally, candidates will have experience of working with young people. An awareness of Child Protection and Safeguarding is desirable, however, full training will be provided. We offer a competitive salary, excellent free lunches, contributory pension scheme and a beautiful working environment.
