We are seeking to appoint a Household Assistant to join our team based at Worth School. The position is required to provide general domestic and cleaning services to Worth School and Worth Abbey as required. 

As a Housekeeping Assistant your responsibilities would include:

  • Cleaning, such as:

- vacuuming, polishing and washing floors

- cleaning toilets and shower blocks

- occasional requirement to make beds

- removal of rubbish

  • Report any damage or repairs to the Estates department
  • Be a visible adult presence within the house whilst undertaking the above duties and report any concerns

What we are looking for:

  • Preferably previous experience of cleaning
  • The ability to understand the health and safety aspects of cleaning duties
  • The ability to read and understand instructions on cleaning products
  • The ability to understand and adhere to Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation
