Job overview
Winchester College seeks to recruit a Housekeeper Matron to support the Housemaster of one of its Boarding Houses in the pastoral care of pupils, and to ensure the smooth running of all domestic and laundry arrangements.
This position will suit a practical, well organised person with a friendly disposition and the ability to communicate effectively with young people.
Experience of a boarding school environment is desirable. This is a residential post.

About Winchester College
Situated in Hampshire, Winchester College is an independent, secondary school for pupils aged between 13 and 18. The school was founded in 1382 by the Bishop of Winchester, William of Wykeham. It was expanded in the 19th Century to accommodate the popular demand in the local society. At the moment, there are over 700 pupils enrolled at the boarding school.
