About Royal High School Bath Senior School

Royal High School Bath was formed in 1998 with the successful merger of two very fine independent girls’ schools, both with histories going back to the middle of the 19th Century. It enjoys wonderful facilities for learning and recreation and our students achieve outstanding results at all levels.  Our staffroom has a warm and collegial atmosphere and our membership of the GDST provides an exciting professional network for all staff.

We are the GDST’s only boarding school.  We offer both day and boarding places from Year 5-13 and our boarders are extremely well integrated with the day community and have a strong profile within the school.

Our Sixth Form offers both IB and A Levels and works with an increasingly international cohort of students.

Royal High School Bath is proud of the warmth which is evident in the relationships between the girls and the staff. Indeed, the promotion of the value of respect for others is at the heart of everything we do.
