Taunton School is over 170 years old and is an Independent School for approximately 1000 boys and girls aged 0-18 years, with circa 300 boarders. We aim to challenge, inspire and nurture young people to succeed in a global community.

Taunton School International (TSI) was set up by Taunton School in 1996 to provide a first step for international students wishing to complete their education in a British school.  It is located on the school campus, is fully residential and has places for up to 80 boys and girls aged 14 to 17 years.

We require a House Mistress from September 2019 to look after the welfare of approximately 30 girls on the TSI campus.  Some form of boarding experience is essential.

The post is permanent and has a 0.75 ESL/English teaching responsibility.

Our School ethos is of a shared responsibility and positive contribution from all to the life and work of this busy six-day-a-week boarding and day community. This is what makes Taunton School such a thriving, energetic and well-rounded Independent School. We offer a competitive package and an outstanding educational environment in which to work.
