We have an unrelenting commitment to be exceptional in all that we do
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and empathetic female Houseparent to join our highly committed boarding team. Responsible for the welfare and pastoral care of our boarding students, resident house staff undertake evening, wake-up and weekend duties providing appropriate pastoral support for those in their care. The successful candidate will have the ability to work and communicate with young people, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the desire and commitment to make a difference to young people’s lives and their experience of boarding.
Our students are a delight to work with: they are articulate, hardworking, well-motivated and display our 7 core values in the way that they treat each other. We pride ourselves on our positive staff/student relationships. Sexey’s School has a strong team of staff who are caring, supportive and working with a ‘determination to be exceptional in all that we do’.
In return, we offer excellent CPD opportunities, a supportive staff body, the opportunity to work in a high performing State Boarding School together with the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience for a career in education. We also offer a shorter academic year (36 weeks), accommodation and meals during term-time.
If you have a determination to be exceptional in all that you do, we would love to hear from you. Completed application forms should be e-mailed together with a covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Closing Date: 18th January 2021 (midday)
