An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide maternity cover within the HR Team from April 2019 for an estimated period of a year.
This role involves a range of duties including providing advice and guidance to Central Services Managers in a way that ensures compliance with legislation and consistency of approach to people management issues across the Bolton School Foundation. The role will also involve managing the recruitment process, maintenance of the HR database and accurately drafting a number of documents including offer letters and contracts.
You should be a qualified member of the CIPD with detailed knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be experienced in supporting and developing HR operations, employee relations and effective people management strategies. Knowledge of the education sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
The hours of work are 35 hours a week, all year round. The salary will be between £27,905 and £30,507 per annum (from 01 April 2019), dependent on skills and experience.
