HR Manager

Salary: Name £34,728 to £38,890 per annum 

Full time, 37 hours per week, all year round, permanent

Leverhulme Academy Trust is at an exciting stage of growth and development. To support our ambitions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced HR manager to work flexibly across our academies.

You will provide expert support on the full HR remit, including policy implementation, trade union liaison, investigations, hearings and case work, as well as contributing towards the delivery of key HR projects. The Trust is hoping to grow in the future and you will play an integral role in providing TUPE support during any growth. With demonstrable experience of working as a HR manager, preferably in the Education sector, you will be able to work autonomously, using your own initiative to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload to meet the needs of the Trust. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working effectively with Headteachers, Business Managers, Line Managers, Trade Unions and other key stakeholders within the Education sector or equivalent. The need for excellent attention to detail and consistency in providing exemplary customer service is essential. 

You will ideally be CIPD qualified, you will have a solid HR generalist background. Customer focused, self-motivated, proactive and organised you will have the ability to manage a mix of operational and project work. With strong communications skills, you will be confident and concise in advising and supporting managers on a diverse range of issues. To support you in this role, the Trust has a contract in place which gives the HR Manager direct access to dedicated HR experts and employment lawyers with proven experience of advising on the day to day and strategic challenges faced by schools and academies. 

With two secondary age (11-15) academies in Bolton within the Trust, plus sixth form provision, the Trust continues to prepare young people for life, academically, socially and spiritually.
