Human Resources Administration Officer

Due to the ever-increasing demands within the Human Resources area of the College an opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Human Resources Officer to join a team who are focused on delivering the highest level of service.  This position is a full-time, continuing position remunerated at the School Officers Classification Level 4 of the Catholic Employing Authorities Single Enterprise Collective Agreement – Religious Institute Schools of Queensland 2019-2023 of $32.2316 per hour.

As an integral part of this team, you will provide administration and clerical support to the Human Resources team. This will include support with on boarding and recruitment processes and activities, maintaining accurate blue card records, co-curricular documentation, processing professional development applications, filing, scanning and general administrative duties.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat skills 
  • The ability to ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times; 
  • Ability to work within a team and communicate clearly to a range of people.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage work with attention to detail; 
  • A High level of communication skills – written, oral and verbal.
  • Excellent range of administrative skills and the enthusiasm to learn.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage competing demands; 

Essential Selection Criteria:

  1. A valid Queensland working with Children Check is mandatory;
  2. Relevant qualifications or experience working in a similar environment
  3. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage work with attention to detail; 
  4. High level computing and communication skills – written, oral and verbal.
