Human Resources Officer
Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. In September 2018 we expanded our provision to include a Primary school (New Oaks), and a specialist independent SEN College provision (Great Oaks) to our already established secondary school (High Oaks). We can cater for students aged from 4 to 25 across the Oaklands group.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development. Since September 2020, the primary and secondary schools have been based on separate sites, High Oaks is situated on Gresham Road in a purpose built new school building (close to Osterley Tube Station and other public transport links) that offers state of the art facilities for our students. New Oaks Primary has relocated back to the newly refurbished Woodlands Road site offering outstanding facilities for our younger students.
We are looking to appoint a HR Officer to support the provision of a professional human resources function, ensuring compliance with school policies, employment legislation and best practice, promoting effective employee relations. The ideal candidate will have relevant HR experience and knowledge, be highly organised and able to act with integrity, compassion and empathy. Please refer to the job description and person specification for full details of the role.
We value our employees and offer excellent training and support along with a pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme and other well-being benefits.
