Humanities Teacher - Coventry

ABC Teachers are looking for a creative and ambitious teacher of humanities to join our small and friendly department within a local Coventry secondary Academy.

They are looking for someone on a full-time basis to start from September 2020

As a teacher of humanities, specialising in  religious studies, you will be dedicated to raising standards to ensure continued improvement in the quality of teaching and learning.

You should be passionate about raising student achievement and ensuring every student reaches their full potential by planning, delivering, monitoring, evaluating and developing appropriately inspiring broad and differentiated lessons.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, innovative and creative classroom practitioner with an in-depth subject knowledge, demonstrating the ability and aptitude to teach their subject to a very high standard. You will be someone who believes they can make a difference to the lives of young people, not only gaining excellent results for our students, but also enthusing them about humanities.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
