The Sir Robert Woodard Academy, part of the Woodard family of schools, is a dynamic and popular 11–18 academy located between Worthing and Brighton, serving the students of Lancing, Sompting and Shoreham. Our aim is that every student is known and nurtured and is provided with teaching and learning experiences that allow them to fulfil their potential. In order to grow our provision in ICT, we are seeking someone with a broad range of IT skills and expertise to deliver a contemporary Information Technology and Business Studies curriculum. We would expect the successful candidate to have a number of the following skills, attributes or knowledge:
- strong IT problem solving skills,
- advanced level skills with Microsoft Office applications
- excellent knowledge of Google Drive and Google's suite of cloud applications
- strong knowledge of a variety of online teaching resources and online technologies
- some knowledge of programming languages or scripting
