Salary:   S31-S35, £29,101.62 - £32,380.92 on the CST Pay Scale

Hours:   Full Time

Purpose of the role

The CST ICT Systems Administrator is an exciting new post for Cathedral Schools Trust. As the ICT Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in managing and developing ICT across the Trust. 

Cathedral Schools Trust is currently made up of one secondary school and three primary schools. Bristol Cathedral Choir School, Ofsted outstanding in 2016, Headley Park Primary School, Ofsted outstanding in 2013, Victoria Park Primary School,  Ofsted Good in 2013 and Cathedral Primary School, Ofsted Good in 2015 - all are well established, oversubscribed and successful schools. In September 2016 we received approval to open a new Secondary School, CST Trinity Academy, in North Bristol whose first cohort of students will start in September 2019. In addition we expect a secondary school to join us by Christmas 2018 and a number of primary schools during 2018/2019. 

The successful candidate should be analytical, creative, resilient and level headed offering creative and forward thinking development ideas and direction across the Trust’s schools. 

You will be accountable to the ICT Manager, supporting the ICT performance of the Trust. 

Whilst you will be based at the CST central office, currently in BS1, you will be required to visit the academies throughout the week. (You will be able to claim out of pocket expenses for travelling between Trust schools in agreement with your line manager). In Year 1 it is likely that you will be based in and supporting of one of our Schools in BS20 for at least 2 days per week and this will be discussed further at interview.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check upon appointment.
