We are looking for a highly skilled and hardworking ICT professional to join our outstanding school that strives to Nurture, Inspire and Transform Lives.

Paddock School is a growing, outstanding and innovative split site school in Roehampton and Putney for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties with Autism or severe of complex learning difficulties.  Our thriving community includes a Singing and Signing Choir, a touring theatre group, sports teams and school café open to the local community.  We currently have over 200 pupils on roll with approximately 180 staff.  

Under the direction of the School Business and Operations Manager, the ICT Technician will implement and continuously improve systems in consultation with the management team and staff in order to meet the business needs of the school and satisfy all IT and telecoms users.

The ICT Technician will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of high quality IT networks and will contribute to the school’s strategy for the development of ICT for Learning including emerging technology (Including Cloud services), virtualisation technology and hardware.  

The ICT Technician will provide technical advice, training and assistance in ICT related matters to staff and students.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in supporting a range of applications and infrastructure projects, ideally gained in a school environment.  An understanding of strategic issues and how to translate these into appropriate action and experience of working to ITIL standards is required as well as being highly organised and able to act with integrity, compassion and empathy.  Candidates with the equivalent experience gained in the commercial sector will also be considered.
