Bramhall High School is a strong and academically successful school of approximately 1300 students. We are regularly oversubscribed and are well regarded by the local community. We are delighted that our strength has been acknowledged and validated during our recent Ofsted inspection.

Our strengths include strong examination results as well as excellent sporting achievements in a range of disciplines, a diverse extra-curricular programme and the high quality of our care for the well-being of students.  We have a good reputation for supporting the needs of students providing excellent pastoral and academic support.  Our students receive a broad and balanced curriculum which responds to current pressures but remains focused on serving their needs.

The staff here are incredibly happy and proud to work at Bramhall High School. Staff development, workload and well-being is a high priority for all leaders within the school. We mainly deliver GCSEs with some vocational pathways, and we have expanded our provision to support pupils’ personal development and welfare.  We work hard to provide learning pathways which are personalised to suit all our students, and have different routes for them to take to lead to success.

Our students engage well with all that school has to offer including over 90 students participating in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme each year and we field more than 50 sports teams, covering a range of sports, to promote both excellence and enjoyment.

Headteacher: Mr Paul Williams
