Inclusion and Engagement Core Skills Coordinator

Salary:  Grade 5 £18,067 (point 22) to £20,460 (point 26) per annum - actual salary to reflect term time working.  

35 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (i.e. 39 weeks per academic year)

The Role

We currently have a vacancy for an Inclusion and Engagement Core Skills Coordinator to coordinate and deliver programmes linked to functional skills, the wider curriculum and emotional development for students with identified behavioural needs to enable reintegration into mainstream participation. 

What we're looking for

Suitable candidates will have relevant teaching, support or training experience of KS3/4 curriculum, with experience in at least one curriculum area and a willingness to support other areas. Proven effectiveness in employing a range of engagement strategies, especially to challenging students is an essential requirement, and suitable candidates will have an understanding of a range of SEN especially students who present SEBD. 

The School

Manchester Health Academy opened in September 2009 and is sponsored by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. In September 2010 the Academy moved into a £20 million state-of-the-art building and to accommodate a growing student population we have expanded further with a £10 million project completed in October 2018.
