Job overview

A unique and exciting opportunity for someone who believes that every child can succeed. An opportunity to directly impact on children’s life chances, making a real difference.

We are looking for inspired and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to inclusive practice and want to make a difference to the educational experience and future lives of our pupils with the most complex needs. Our Inclusion Mentors will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of group and individual interventions to improve pupil attendance, improve behaviour and increase engagement with learning. This will include the development of personal, social, and communication skills through a range of activities. Whilst not a requirement for the job, the provision we are developing means that skills or an interest in creative, practical or vocational areas would be valuable in this role. We value inclusive, person-centred and attribute-based approaches. Experience and confidence working with children whose behaviour may be perceived as challenging is essential, as is an understanding of the underlying factors contributing to this and a desire to address and resolve these.

Sound exciting? Does this “strike a chord”? Turn on your computer or pick up a pen – we would love to hear from you! We look forward to meeting you.
