We are seeking to appoint a School Counsellor who will be responsible in developing and implementing a counseling programme to assist students in their personal, social and academic development. Responsibilities include conducting assessments to evaluate students’ abilities, assisting students with career planning, and ensuring students have all the tools to become productive and well-adjusted adults.

 

The School Counsellor should be compassionate, patient, and adaptable and should be prepared to assist any of the students with personal or academic issues. Guide the development and implement a competitive school counseling program that focuses on and promotes students’ success.

We are looking for a reflective practitioner who:


• Places the individual child at the centre of everything that they do.

• Is a team player and must have a passion for achieving high levels of learning.

• Prioritises happiness, enjoyment and a sense of fun in their work and lessons.

• Had a relevant degree, PGCE or BEd or the equivalent. 

• Has a passion for their subject and pedagogical development.

• Is confident with the use of IT in teaching.

• Has high expectations and aspirations for all students.

• Has a demonstratable commitment to the overall development of young people.

• Can provide an Enhanced Disclosure/DBS/ACRO Police Check or equivalent, and who is committed to the welfare of all children.
