International School Brescia is a friendly and innovative IB World School fully authorised for the Primary Years Programme (3-12), the Middle Years Programme (11-16) and the Diploma Programme (16-19). The school is growing rapidly, opening new classes year on year, and high importance is placed on the digital learning environment throughout the continuum of programmes.  Our mission is based on the values of the IB Learner Profile and we aim to offer a challenging and stimulating curriculum based on high achievement and inquiry-based learning and designed to generate an enthusiasm for learning and value it as a life-long process.  International School Brescia is seeking a motivated teacher to join our team immediately for the Middle and Diploma classes. You should be able to adapt quickly to a new and exciting learning environment and be flexible teaching across year groups. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional, preferably but not necessarily with experience of the International Baccalaureate. You should be willing to use flexible strategies in a class with students from different language backgrounds. The successful candidate will:

-Be passionate about providing excellent teaching and learning

-Ideally have some experience in teaching IB but this is not a requirement as training will be given

-Be willing to play an active part and collaborate with the other members of the school

-Be committed to high standards, interested in using a constructivist approach to learning, and be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.

-Be committed to creating a safe environment where our students can learn and grow.

Candidate requirements:  Qualified Teacher Status with fluent English. Holding a University degree and an EU passport or have already obtained the right to be employed in Italy.
