The West Bridgford School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to join our Intervention Team. You will be working with the Deputy Headteacher responsible for Behaviour and Intervention, to provide support for students across school. You will support the work of the highly experienced pastoral team, helping to investigate incidents, as well as support students with academic and career aspirations. You will demonstrate flexibility and the ability to establish effective relationships with young people. It is very important that you can work as part of a team, cope well under pressure, and use your initiative to prioritise work. The role will also include some general administrative duties.
Ideally you will understand the challenges our students face and have experience working in a secondary school setting or with children between the ages of 11-18. You will be a person who wants to work with young people and would like to learn more about working in a school environment.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
