Required from February 2023

We are looking to recruit individuals to join our team of Examinations Invigilators. Examinations Invigilators are used in school to aid the organisation and running of both the internal school assessments and the external formal examinations under the guidance of the Exams Officer.

If you want to make a positive difference and are able to work using initiative and as part of a team then this could be the position for you. The hours are family friendly and flexible, and vary from week to week however, morning sessions start no later than 8.15 am and afternoon sessions start no later than 12.45 pm. 

Full training will be given and it is expected that the successful applicants will attend the training sessions and meetings in school as required. They should ideally have some experience in working with young people although not essential.  The successful candidate must show a commitment to supporting the ethos of the school and an ability to implement its policies, including Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety.

Located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, Wrenn School is a secondary school for boys and girls aged 11-18. The establishment has two campuses: London Road, for Years 10-13 and Doddington Road, for Years 7-9. The coeducational School has 1470 pupils, including 140 in the sixth form.

Wrenn School's origins lie in Wellingborough High School for girls and Wellingborough Grammar School for boys, which both shared the site in 1930. The two schools merged in 1975. Wrenn School gained academy status in 2013.
