Salary: BG9 Scale point 26-29 (£23,398- £25,951) 

37 hours per week, all year round

Hours of Work: 08:00-16:30 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:00 Friday 

Are you either an experienced IT Technician looking for additional responsibility or an existing Senior IT technician looking for a new challenge supporting a cluster of 9 schools in South Bristol with great opportunities for career progression in the future? If so, this position could be for you.

Bedminster Down School are looking for an outstanding IT technician to join a vibrant and forward thinking school. OFSTED recently graded the school as “Good” and this is an exciting opportunity for someone to enable the school to work towards ‘Outstanding’.
 

The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team, Senior leaders responsible for IT and the local primary schools we work with to provide IT support.

Bedminster Down attracts pupils from a large, increasing, number of partner primaries from across the south-west side of the city, with families resident from Highridge to Windmill Hill, as well as Bishopsworth, Headley Park and Bedminster. A measure of the school’s growing popularity is that we have had well over three hundred applications for 216 places in September 2017. Our last OFSTED inspection in 2014 found the school to be judged as good overall, with good findings for behaviour, leadership teaching and achievements. In 2016 the school received its highest ever GCSE results.
