Full-time, permanent | Based at Kingswood School, Bath
Are you a tech enthusiast with a flair for customer service? Do you enjoy solving problems, working on varied projects, and helping others get the best from their IT systems? Kingswood School is looking for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our friendly and fast-paced Helpdesk Team.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the first port of call for staff and pupils requiring IT support - whether that’s troubleshooting technical issues via the Helpdesk, delivering IT inductions and training, supporting extra-curricular clubs and activities, or getting hands-on with system upgrades and projects. No two days are quite the same.
We’re open to applicants with a range of experience - from those seeking their first role in IT support to more experienced technicians. What matters most is your enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. You’ll need a relevant computing qualification and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems. Experience in a similar environment would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.
In return, we offer:
· A competitive salary between £27,000 and £35,000, based on experience and qualifications
· A supportive team and a vibrant working environment across our beautiful school site
· Excellent staff benefits, including free lunches, access to a group pension scheme, and free on-site parking (subject to availability)
If you’re ready to bring your skills to a school that values innovation, service and community, we would love to hear from you.

About Kingswood Senior School
Education that embraces these values enriches and gives deeper meaning to life. It makes the attainment of personal goals and achievements more certain, career advancement more likely, and happiness more secure.
As the Principal of the Kingswood Foundation (and the Headmaster of its senior school) I believe the senior school and the prep school form together a very special place in which young people have the opportunity to realize their potential in a very caring and friendly community. The schools are set within a uniquely beautiful estate on the northern edge of a world heritage city and this provides a wonderful environment in which to grow up and learn.
I hope you will come and visit us and see for yourself how we seek to develop each individual's character and talents by encouraging boys and girls to reach their fullest and best in every way.
