The IT Support Officer provides technical support in the College for the IT Technician and works under their direct supervision. As a member of the College IT Team, the role holder supports the Team’s objective of providing the highest level of service to the College Community. The role covers IT support for all Staff Members, Students and the broader school community. Job Description is attached for further information

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 3. $54829 - $57151

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.

St Eugene College is an all-through, Catholic co-educational school, located in Burpengary, QLD. The school has 1200 students in Prep through to Year 12 and 148 staff. 

The school was founded in 2009, and is part of the Queensland Catholic Education Commission.

Facilities

School facilities include a large multi-purpose hall, a modern library resource centre, with computer access, dedicated areas for art, science, and theatre, and a hospitality kitchen for senior students. The school also has large sporting and recreation areas. Classrooms are also supplied with interactive whiteboards and data projectors. 

Curriculum

The curriculum is based on nine core learning areas: religious education, English, science, language other than English, health and physical education, mathematics, society and environment, and technology and the arts. Vocational training and qualifications are also available to senior students. Students in Year 6-12 have access to tablets for learning, while primary school classrooms have computer access within the rooms. The school also has a number of Support Teachers to provide additional help to students with special academic and emotional needs. 

Extra-curricular activities include choir, dance, string ensemble, band, debate, chess club, and a range of sports.
