Hours: 20 hours (40 weeks per year)

Tadley Court School are looking for a skilled IT Technician to join their team.  In liaison with and using the support of the central IT team, the successful candidate will assist the day to day running of the sites IT infrastructure, hardware and software to ensure functionality across the school and it’s children’s homes.

The role holder will;

  • Demonstrate a full and detailed working knowledge of the Priory Group IT policy ensuring security of hardware and data
  • Working under the direction of the central IT team, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
  • Manage own time and prioritise support requests and resolutions
  • Monitor network infrastructure, both cabled and wireless
  • Produce and maintain an inventory of all hardware and software
  • Install and configure hardware and software.


A relevant IT qualification and at least 2 years’ experience of providing IT support for up to 200 staff and service users is a requirement of the role.

The successful candidate will benefit from a bespoke induction programme which will include spending time at the Priory Group IT department in Bristol.

We are a day school with six associated Children's Homes specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
