Southfields Academy requires an IT Technician to install, assemble and configure computers, operating systems and network infrastructure. Knowledge of AD and hands-on experience with hardware is essential for this role. Duties will also include troubleshooting problems with computer systems and server infrastructure, both hardware and software related. A fully converged Cisco network means learning possibilities and training in VMWare and SCCM infrastructure will be given to successful candidates showing a 'can-do' attitude. The successful candidate will be part of a school wide system upgrade to Win Server 2016, Win10 and SCCM 2012/2016 environment.
· Microsoft Certification (MCDST preferred)
· 1 year’s experience in a help desk role
· A good level of English proficiency.
Experience in an educational environment, with Apple OSX and cabling.
