Job overview

Lancing College is seeking to recruit an IT Technician. This is a full time post, working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.45. In addition the IT Technician will be required to work Saturday Mornings 08.30 – 12.30 during term time only, on a rota basis.

IT Technician duties will include (but not exclusively), assisting with proposed IT related projects, day-to-day tasks associated with the College’s and Prep School’s computer systems. Training will be given on the College’s internal proprietary systems, knowledge and experience of working with, Apple hardware / software, supporting Windows desktop support and application support is all desirable skills. 

The ideal candidate would be an individual, with at least two years’ experience in a technical role, who is forward thinking and can cope with the day to day issues of a busy IT department.  We are looking for someone who will take pride in their work and they will support and bolster the professional image of the IT department.  In an environment perfect for expanding IT skills we are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, motivated and focused individual to join our thriving team.
