Job overview
Lancing College is seeking to recruit an IT Technician. This is a full time post, working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.45. In addition the IT Technician will be required to work Saturday Mornings 08.30 – 12.30 during term time only, on a rota basis.
IT Technician duties will include (but not exclusively), assisting with proposed IT related projects, day-to-day tasks associated with the College’s and Prep School’s computer systems. Training will be given on the College’s internal proprietary systems, knowledge and experience of working with, Apple hardware / software, supporting Windows desktop support and application support is all desirable skills.
The ideal candidate would be an individual, with at least two years’ experience in a technical role, who is forward thinking and can cope with the day to day issues of a busy IT department. We are looking for someone who will take pride in their work and they will support and bolster the professional image of the IT department.
