ITT Teacher

Subjects: Engineering, Construction, Three-Dimensional Design or Design & Technology 

Due to exciting growth in the school, with a 40% growth in pupils since September 2021, The Howard Academy Trust is offering a unique opportunity to the right graduate or undergraduate who is interested in teaching to start with effect from September 2022.  

Train to teach at Secondary level and gain Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status depending on your qualifications.

The successful candidate will develop the craft of teaching under our very experienced ITT team whilst working in Engineering, Construction, Three Dimensional Design or Design and Technology. 

The successful candidate would have a dedicated mentor as well as support from the ITT team and would train alongside other trainees (on a variety of training routes such as SD, AO, PGCE, ECT, Apprenticeship) or our ‘in house’ initial teacher training programme. 

The Howard Academy Trust has a tradition of and commitment to training teachers to become High Quality Inclusive practitioners.  

This post comes with a Golden Hello - £2,500 on joining the Academy in September and then a further £2,500 after committing to a second year in the Academy. The Trust also offer a comprehensive and generous relocation package of £1,500 for the right candidate joining us from out of area.
