Junior Developer

B1 (SCP 4-6) £18,933 - £19,698
Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, All Year Round

Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period

The GORSE Academies Trust seek to employ a talented and aspiring Junior Developer to support our highly ambitious projects, one of which could be of national significance in the education sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Infrastructure and Development and the lead developer on major projects and will drive the development of these solutions. Your skills will also be required to support the work of our website development team as we seek to take our websites and web services to the next level.

You must be passionate about technology, committed to creating highly functional and intuitive solutions, and capable of communicating clearly and listening carefully. Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL are a must. We are keen to hear from existing junior developers, graduates, and self-taught developers looking for a formal opportunity. 

The Trust is a vibrant and forward-thinking teaching community which places all students, and in particular those who come from the most challenging backgrounds, at the centre of its work. You will be exposed to colleagues from all our partner schools but will work primarily with the central team, its directors, and the executive office.

The GORSE Academies Trust is an Outstanding education provider in Leeds that serves over 9,000 students in its four primary academies, five secondary academies, sixth form college and alternative provision academy.
