Hours will be subject to discussion at interview and could include mornings, evenings and weekends or a combination of these.

Faringdon Learning Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated, professional key holder for their school sites. We are a multi-academy trust that includes a number of primary schools and a secondary school in Oxfordshire. The Trust is based in Faringdon, in the Vale of the White Horse. We take pride in ensuring our school sites establish a learning environment that is safe, attractive and inviting. Our Trust key holders are central to ensuring the safety and security of the sites. With overall responsibility for opening and closing, applicants should demonstrate good attention to detail and a proactive, flexible approach to meet the requirements of the role.
The Key Holding Officer is responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the security and compliance relating to the fabric and grounds of the schools. This includes site safety, opening and closing compliance checks and excellent customer service to the community groups and organisations who use our facilities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good attention to detail and a methodical, organised, thorough approach to tasks.
This role requires you to communicate effectively with a range of people including staff, visitors, contractors and lettings and have a good understanding of health and safety issues. You will be approachable, well-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative. You will take pride in how our schools look and function and appreciate the importance of maintaining a safe and attractive school environment.
