Join the Abacus family! We are a growing 'Outstanding' 1 form entry school which opened in 2013, looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Leader as we expand into Upper Key Stage 2. We can offer fantastic leadership opportunities as the school grows. We are part of CfBT Schools Trust which is a collaborative family of 16 schools (5 secondary, 11 primary). We are looking for an experienced teacher who has experience teaching in Year 6 to lead Key Stage 2. You will oversee the teaching and learning in your Key Stage, under the guidance and support of the Deputy Head Teacher. In addition to this responsibility, you will lead a subject area as well as be responsible for a Year 5 class.
As a free school, we operate much like a state school and follow the National Curriculum with the addition of Outdoor Learning and Mandarin, taught by our specialist Mandarin teacher.
