Key Stage 2 Teacher and Year Group Leader

We are a growing school and are looking to expand our team for September 2018

£25,000 - £38,800  

Due to the school growing, we require a Classroom Teacher for September 2018.  This role has potential to be Year Group Leader for the right candidate.

New Horizons Children’s Academy opened in September 2014 with only four classes, we have now grown to deliver a fantastic education to nearly 500 children from the local community and we will be growing until 2020. Our classrooms are brand new and we have many exciting opportunities for teachers who are keen to develop their career.

What you will need to succeed: 

• QTS and excellent knowledge / experience of teaching 
• Deep understanding of Maths teaching and learning 
• Strong use of data to improve outcomes 
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues
• Dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best 
• Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and interpersonal skills 
• Good or Outstanding practice, along with high expectations for yourself and the children
