Key Stage 2 Teacher with specialism in Maths required from September 2021

Full time and permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an inspiring, innovative and outstanding teacher to join us from September 2021, to lead the development of Maths throughout the school and teach Maths to our children in Key Stage 2, with a focus on Years 5 and 6. 

In addition to leading the development of the teaching and learning of Maths throughout the school, the role will also include teaching foundation subjects and Science at Key Stage 2, which we achieve through an enquiry-led and project-based approach.

Cameron Vale School is a small, yet forward thinking and growing, one form entry independent school for boys and girls aged 2 to 11. There is specialist teaching in music, sport and languages throughout the school. Foundation subjects are taught through an enquiry-led creative curriculum with the personal development of our children developed through our Forest School curriculum and promotion of growth mindset from the minute children walk through our front door.

Shortlisted candidates will have an initial and remote interview at any stage from receipt of applications to before final interviews. Successful candidates will then proceed to the final stage, which will be on-site and involve teaching an observed lesson and final interview.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher with the ability to inspire and challenge children of a range of abilities.
