Tarabya British Schools (TBS) are unique in Türkiye, offering a pioneering blend of CIE and Turkish Curricula. We are recognised and accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Education and Cambridge International. Last year we were awarded the platinum standard for British Schools Overseas by becoming a COBIS Patron member school.

TBS was opened by the current Duke of Edinburgh in 2013, making 2023 a very special anniversary for the school. The schools mission aims to develop the whole child and places great emphasis on the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Scheme.

Our teachers are all gifted in their areas, and our students benefit from this in a harmonious ‘boutique’ atmosphere, where the children and students are nurtured in a highly personalised way, resulting in every single child being accepted at prestigious British, American or Turkish Universities. The vast majority attending those in the UK.

The school itself is on two sites , Primary (Preschool through Grade 4) housed at Yenikoy, where children experience the very best facilities, including even a small-holding. The Middle/High School students are housed in a large converted Villa at Tarabya a short walk from the Seaside.
