ABC Teachers are working exclusively with a Wolverhampton based primary school to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic NQT to start with their school from September. This role is available to all NQTS looking to start a permanent contract from Christmas as a Key Stage 1 based teacher. The year group that the successful applicant will be taking over has not been finalised yet and may be negotiable depending on the preference of the applicant.
This role will require the successful applicant to work until Christmas on a probationary period to allow the school to thoroughly assess the candidate’s performance and suitability for the role. After this 10 week probation the candidate will then be offered a permanent contract and be employed directly by the school.
The school is a two form entry based in one of Wolverhampton’s most affluent areas. ABC Teachers wok with this school on an exclusive basis and have source a large amount of the schools existing members of staff. The school is an ideal place for an NQTS to start their career as the support that is in place is excellent. The successful applicant will be assisted by an experienced TA and be provided with both PPA and NQT time.
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate through a formal trial that they can plan lessons effectively and deliver an engaging lesson to a key stage 1 class. The successful applicant will also be a confident and assertive with excellent behaviour management.
