The Governors of Helmshore Primary School are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed mainscale teachers to join our staff team in September 2018. This is a great opportunity to begin or further your career within a friendly and supportive staff team who are dedicated and aspirational. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQT's but knowledge and experience of working in Key Stage One will be an advantage.

We are looking for:

- a teacher who is appropriately qualified with QTS status - a teacher who is keen to work as part of a team and share ideas and good practice. - a teacher who is experienced in teaching Letters and Sounds and knowledge of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum. - a teacher who is passionate about raising the achievement of all children and meeting all children's individual needs. - a teacher with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.  - a teacher who can provide and maintain a stimulating classroom environment. - a teacher who promotes children's learning and accepts responsibility for the progress and attainment of their pupils. - a teacher who can create good, positive relationships with colleagues, pupils, parents and members of the community. - a teacher who is committed to effective marking, recording, assessing, setting targets and reporting on the attainments and progress of children in line with school policies and procedures.  - a teacher with commitment to their own personal and professional development and keeping abreast of current changes in education. - a teacher who is able to plan and prepare work that reflects the age and ability of the children they are teaching. - a teacher who can communicate and co-operate with outside agencies, e.g. Educational Psychologists, Speech Therapists, personnel from other schools.  - a teacher to deliver, participate and contribute to relevant high quality CPD, and school self-evaluation. - a teacher to provide equal opportunities for all children.  - a teacher who can fulfil the duties of a Subject Leader. A teacher who is happy to contribute to extra-curricular activities and be involved in the wider life of the school. - a teacher who can carry out any other duties as directed by the Headteacher that are commensurate with the post and grade stated.
