Vision for Education is seeking to appoint Key stage 1 Teacher / tutors to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Barnsley area to start as soon as possible for small group tutoring.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS.  

The role  

You will be working long term in afternoons to teach small groups of pupils of 1 -3 who are in KS1. The role will be starting in the afternoons beginning 12pm and can run on until 5pm. You will be tutoring children to help reduce the attainment gap, further stretch due to lockdowns. You will be required to tutor alongside the national curriculum with specific learning objects to help fill any gaps in learning. The groups you will be working with will all be working on the same learning objectives and can be across the range of core subjects.

The school is situated in the north of Barnsley and is a larger than national average school. It has a very close knit and family feel to it and you will be needing to fit right in straight away.   

Requirements  

To be considered for the Key Stage 1 Teacher position, you will:  

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).   

• Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience 

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.  

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
