ABC Teachers are working closely with a school in Perry Barr that requires a fully qualified teacher for an intervention role in their upper KS2 classes from September 2018 onwards.
The school boasts a brilliant location which is accessible via all main transport links. The Head Teacher has placed a real focus on the resources within the school and now excellent and innovative technology is available which teachers can use to create enhanced and dynamic lessons. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the school makes it a lovely place to both work and attend.
The position available will involve five days per week and will predominantly require the chosen candidate to lead large booster groups which will require some prior planning. The rest of the school day will involve PPA cover throughout KS2.
There is a high percentage of SEN and EAL at the school making this role both varied and rewarding. Each class has at least two fully qualified teaching assistants on hand for support where needed.
