More about the role available:

The vacancy is for the position of Primary Teacher in a Special School working with young people with social, mental, emotional and behavioural difficulties, teaching a small KS2 class of under 10 pupils. The school welcomes applications from candidates who have experience of teaching students within a Special School setting. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within an environment where young people can sometimes exhibit some challenging behaviour and have a flexible approach to working to ensure we offer a pupil centred learning experience to allow each individual to reach their full potential. 

To be considered for the position you must: 

• Be confident delivering subjects across the curriculum

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification and possess either QTS or QTLS

• A specialism in English would be advantageous but not essential

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of staff who put children at the heart of everything that they do.

• Have a nurturing character to bring out the best in the pupils
