St. Joseph’s Primary School is a vibrant and caring school, proudly reflecting the diversity of the community it serves, caring for 210 children plus a Nursery.

Our finances are healthy: our site is well maintained and we have an excellent reputation. We firmly believe that an effective teacher needs to have a good work-life balance and hence our PPA time is generous.

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic inspirational class teacher to join our hard-working and dedicated school team in KS2. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave for one year from January 2019.

We are looking for someone who;

· Is an excellent and highly motivated teacher

· Has high expectations of learning and behaviour

· Can maintain and develop high standards of achievement.

· Is sympathetic to the Catholic faith

Applications are invited from teachers with QTS or equivalent, including experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Contract: Temporary for 1 year – full time
