Hunslet Carr Primary is a dynamic and vibrant inner city primary school (NOR 470) that serves the community of Hunslet in South Leeds. We are located within easy access from the A1 and M1 motorways and within commutable distance from Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Barnsley and York.

Our Ofsted inspection in March 2018 highlighted that the leaders of the school are ambitious, have high aspirations for the school and appropriate priorities and plans for improvement are in place. As part of this vision, we are excited to develop a team that is determined and passionate to put those plans in to action.

As a result we are looking to appoint an excellent teacher for Key Stage 2 from September 2018, to continue to give our children the very best chances in life.

The successful candidate would be joining us at an exciting time as we introduce Maths no Problem and embed Talk 4 Writing in Key Stage 2. Together with a happy, motivated and established team, you will provide our children with exciting and relevant experiences that prepare our young children for secondary school.

We are looking for an excellent teacher with a track record of high expectations, positive attitudes combined with a caring nature who is able to work well as part of a team for the purpose of improving the behaviour, educational outcomes, self-esteem and resilience of our fantastic children.
