High Close School is a flourishing residential and day special school catering for young people with a complex range of needs. Ofsted has judged education to be ‘Good' (Feb 2018) and we are now working towards becoming outstanding. We are seeking an outstanding and innovative teacher to join our popular and very successful primary unit which caters for pupils in Key Stage 2. Classes of 6 are staffed by a teacher and Learning Support Assistants who work closely together to plan and deliver a creative curriculum that engages pupils and helps them fulfil their potential. There is an emphasis on social and emotional progress as well as academic attainment.

High Close School is a weekly boarding residential and day special school catering for young people with a complex range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
We cater for young people in KS2, KS3 and KS4. We offer a traditional school experience equivalent to mainstream with outcomes that includes recognised qualifications at the end of KS4. We do this in small classes with high levels of pastoral care and support.
