SIAL Bilingual, bicurricular and bicultural English/Italian school – KS2 Teaching Assistant
Bilingual, bicurricular and bicultural English/Italian school seeks ENGLISH KS2 Teaching Assistant.
If, for you...
There is more than one way to teach To be trusted, challenged, seen and heard is as important for you
as it is for children
Seeing yourself as much teacher as assistant is a source of learning and of pride
When you are not happy you would rather speak and act
Your mind willingly turns to the children you work with when you come across a great idea
It is important to know where you stand, where you're heading and that you'll be supported and encouraged to get there
Things not going to plan soon moves from a cause for concern to a cause for action
Having your role seen as merely filling time or not requiring intuition leaves you cold
Telling someone something brilliant that a child has said or done leaves you warm
...then please consider the accompanying role description for the position of KS2 Teaching Assistant at our school.
A knowledge of Italian, however small, is not required, but would certainly be of benefit. Varied experience of teaching children learning English as an additional language would also be advantageous (for us and for you).
If you wish to apply for this position please send the application form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
